It’s our first week in Luang Prabang, and damn is it charming.

Back alleys lined with wooden cafes, young monks walking the streets, gold-leaf temples and tons of French colonial architecture. It’s a quiet, tiny town, but it’s got a unique allure. Think a mix of Chiang Mai and Myanmar. Anyway, we’re here for the next three weeks, and I can’t wait to wander.

I Just Got The Best Press Trip Email

This was a first for me. A PR rep sent an email cataloging all their upcoming press trips for 2023. These were both group trips they’re planning and individual trips they can arrange for their different clients. What a brilliant idea!

Instead of receiving 20+ individual emails for different trips, this gives writers a clear and easy idea of what’s coming up and allows us to book it into our calendars well in advance. It also gives us a snapshot of all of your clients and where they may fit for upcoming stories.

I appreciated it so much that I responded and said thank you, this is so helpful and concise. Here’s hoping for more emails like this in 2023.
