Happy Holidays! Cheers to the end of 2023 and a better and brighter 2024.
It’s been a challenging year for the industry with AI in the mix, dozens and dozens of layoffs and budgets slashed. For most freelancers I know, this has been the toughest year of their careers.
It all sounds a bit doom and gloom, but I’ve seen some signs that indicate industry progress. People are trying new things and getting creative; this goes for PR too.
In 2023, I’ve seen some really innovative ways PR are reaching out to journalists, as well as some things they really need to stop doing.
