4 Seasons In One Day + PR Pitches I Love To Get In My Inbox
Geez Tasmania is cold! Latest stories, editorial needs and upcoming travel.
Did you know Hawaii is smack dab in the middle of Boston and Melbourne? I found out about this random travel fact when flying around the world to spend the holidays with my partner’s family.
Instead of spending 400,000 points for one-way business class flights (insane, right?!?), I highly recommend breaking up the trip to Australia by spending a few days in Hawaii. And when we landed in Hobart, Tasmania a few days ago, my limbs weren’t screaming, and my brain had adjusted (mostly) to the time difference.
We were met with a sunny day and these gorgeous roses on our exploratory walk of downtown Hobart. A few minutes later, it started bucketing down rain. True to my experience with southern Australia, it’s a four seasons in one day kind of place.
PR Pitches I Love To Get In My Inbox
It sounds basic, but my favorite PR pitches are roundups with unique or quirky angles. Some of my most fun articles stem from these thoughtful pitches, including this Hotels Above Par article, this House Beautiful story and an upcoming Robb Report article.
They also inspire me to look for interesting commonalities when I’m trying to place a hotel or destination. I got a clever roundup pitch earlier this week that I’m excited to pitch. Stay tuned!

Now that White Lotus is over, what is everyone watching!? I used to work for Nickelodeon, Logo and VHI, so I love TV and admittedly stream way more content than most. So, I’m looking for suggestions for new shows to watch! What can’t you get enough of right now?
A few of the best things I’ve watched lately include Derry Girls, The Sex Lives of College Girls, Below Deck, Reservation Dogs, and yes, I’ve got my popcorn out for the Meghan and Harry doc.
